Roswell, GA. (November 28, 2016) – Apex Payroll, a premier provider of cloud-based payroll and human capital management technology, held their annual food drive leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday to benefit the North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry as part of its continuing efforts to give back to the community. This year, the company decided to turn the drive into a challenge to stir up excitement among the team. Apex Payroll employees were divided into six teams and given two weeks to collect as many nonperishable items as possible by Monday, November 21st, with the winning team being presented with a Top Golf Luncheon on the company.
With the challenge in place, another kind of drive occurred. A competitive drive. Plans were hatched and donations came in to the very last minute. At the two-week conclusion, Apex Payroll is pleased to announce an overwhelming 3,350 items were collected by their 26 employees. A special congratulation goes to Team Kevin with a tremendous 921 items.
“Apex Payroll and its employees feel strongly about community involvement and giving back this time of the year. This year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive challenge was a fun way to drive momentum and to further garner employee engagement,” expresses CEO Stephen W. Gregg.
